Happy holidays

Again, I know I haven’t written for a while. The heat seems to have gone out of the recent fevered political atmosphere. A lot of this has to do with the summer vacation arriving, at work and for our two young children. The six-week spreadsheet of amusements for the children has been compiled – so far they’ve visited Eltham Palace, the Royal Festival Hall, the Hayward Gallery, the Tate Modern, Thorpe Park, Danson Park, the Horniman Museum, assorted farms/parks, grandmothers and aunts. Phew! And it’s not over yet…
